What is your favorite weather to walk in?

Spring!

What makes you passionate for petcare? Why this work?

I have always loved pets, I have always had pets - from the dog my parents got me when I was one year old to numerous cats named after musicians (like Tina Turner and Cyndi Lauper), to an iguana I rescued in college. I love how pets can help us calm our nervous systems and become part of our families and really part of us. When someone looks after my dog I want to know they understand and love pets and I want to provide that for others. BONUS - you get to be outside for your job!

What do you want your clients to know about you?

The longest stretch I’ve gone without a pet is nearly 10 years without having any pets because I was a seasonal park ranger at Crater Lake and Grand Teton National Parks.

If you could be any animal, what and why?

Otter! I love the water and they always seem like they are having so much fun.
