Re-occurring Templates

Re-occurring templates are ideal for regular weekly and monthly for drop-in care and dog walking services.

Templates are automated based around your weekly and monthly scheduling needs. Re-occurring walking templates are a great way to ensure your animal is getting routine physical exercise, mental stimulation, and socialization. Customize templates to rotate weekly or biweekly and can be paused or have set dates. This is ideal for clients seeking routinely scheduled care for their pets without having to submit individual services.

Occasional Booking

Submit requests as you expect them and when you need them.

Submit requests as you need. An important step in responsible pet ownership is having a safety net for your pets in case of emergency. Reach out as you need whenever life gets in the way. Occasional services we provide: overnight care, drop-in cat care, bird and reptile enclosure cleanings and hydration checks, plant watering, and home security checks and so much more. No additional feeds to maintain your client placement. Once you’re a client, you’re considered our neighbor.

Booking Timeline

Up-to 3 Months in Advance

Services that have been approved by Pals are then approved on the schedule up to three months in advance. Service requests exceeding three months out will be added to a waitlist. Requests within the three-month booking period that have yet to be approved will remain pending until we can find coverage or introduce a new Pal to provide coverage.

Nothing gets approved on the schedule until a Pal has confirmed coverage. Additional meetings with Pals may be required at certain times to provide additional support and in case of an emergency. We do our best to pair you with our Pals based on availability, proximity, as well as ability. Pals may deny or approve services at any time. Therefore, more is better but not always necessary.

  • The last-minute booking fee for any service requested within a 24hr will be $15. Last minute booking fees may be applied to service requests to accommodate administrative processing for urgent service requests. Booking requests are encouraged to be submitted 7 days in advance or by the first of each month.

    Dog walking

    Dog walking requests made to start within 48hrs of the initial start date will have a $7 booking fee per day.

    The last-minute booking fee for any service requested within a 24hr will be $15.

    Pet sitting - drop ins and overnights

    Overnight requests meant to start within 72hrs of the initial start date will have a last-minute booking fee of $10 per day.

    Inclement Weather

    PetPals will release dates/periods of inclement weather due to snow, ice, excessive heat, or unsafe air conditions and other hazardous conditions. Services booked during those times will be subject to a $15 emergency service fee to compensate for their safety.

    Dog Walking

    If services are canceled within 24hrs of the service start date or same-day, it is canceled at 100% cost of the service.

    Pet Sitting

    If service is canceled within 24hrs of the service start date or during the pet sit, services will be canceled at 100% of the initial or total service(s) booked.

    If service is canceled within 72hrs of the service start date, it will be canceled at 50% of the entire service booked.

    Inclement Weather

    Winter: If there is snow outside, we advise non-emergency services be cancelled to allow for safer roads and walking paths for the community. If you happen to be home due to poor weather, please reach out as soon as possible so that we may cancel your services

    • Emergency weather alerts will be communicated Time to Pet blasts and Instagram for live updates

  • ($5)

    This fee is assessed 1x per day for administration of any prescription medications.

    This fee may be applied later if not added with the initial service request or if we are not informed prior to arriving at the home for services that medications will need to be administered.

    Our staff will inform you if the fee needs to be assessed. If you are unsure how to add the fee as an additional service on your request, you may also leave a note for our team while requesting your services in the "Additional Details" section and the fee will be added.

  • $5 per day

    This fee is assessed for the daily commute to clients outside our service boundaries, or if a pet sitter who does not normally work in your neighborhood needs to commute to provide services to your home.

  • Holiday Rate ($20)

    Our Pals are Independent contractors, which means they choose to work over their holidays. To honor their dedication to spend the holidays away from their families and personal pets a holiday fee of $20 will be added to services per day, not per service booked.

    Do you need to provide our team with a key or other in-person trade off for entry?

    This fee is assessed for having our pet sitter come to pick up or return a key outside of the meet & greet.

    $8.75 per day

    Fee assessed if there are more than 4 pets (of any species) in the home; up to 6 pets* Some considerations may apply.
